Remember Mahatma Gandhi
It was January 30, 1948 Mahatma succumbed to bullets while he was on his way to prayers. Although he has left us physically, his teachings, many experiences in his personal life, politics and philosophy are still fresh in the minds of people in India and other countries.
Why are remembered in every corner of the world? What aspects of his philosophy is attractive enough to attract young people into the folds of Gandhi? His life has become a model for those who are willing to practice non-violence at different levels between individuals and governments.
The first thing we have to remember Mahatma Gandhi is a thin man with glasses wearing a piece of cloth with Confidence with walking stick or sitting quietly before spinning Charkha. This simplicity is the signature on his life and teachings.
The most important aspect of his life is no difference between what is taught and what was practiced. Therefore, he said, "be the change you want to see in the world", which literally means that instead of a dream or talk about the change must start from the individual.
He was one of the foundations of the idea of ​​non-violence. Was not just a philosophical and mental level, but implemented on a personal level and the community in everyday life. He was not only a hole to be followed by other human beings for the first time, but it means respect for other creatures in nature, such as insects and animals.
Although he is known as a great leader for the development of violent tools in use as to gain independence from British rule a political strategy, and felt that it should be part of the normal life of the man to finish the process between the family and the community.
Gandhi was the first modern advocates of peace, and coined the word, and peaceful non-violent means to war and militarism and opposition violence. This is also known as "Satyagraha", one of the main tools that led to independence from colonial rule.
To do so, he apologized instead of spreading hatred. He said, "Forgiveness is powerful and the weak trait can never be forgiven." So, until he met his enemies and uses this goodwill between enemies and gradually he was able to earn his persuasion. This is why many Britons support Gandhi in spite of British rule was a powerful enemy.
There was no hatred in his mind against his detractors or those who have criticized his thoughts and actions. For him, and revenge is like the spread of poison, and the practice of eye for an eye will make the whole world blind.
His life experience with truth and non-violence, which is constantly cases was people learn. His appointment is "live as if you will die tomorrow, learn as if you were to live forever." And learn from its mistakes, and improve their strategies and increase the effectiveness of their ideas.

On the anniversary of his death and the 69th, remember Gandhi's ideas to put into practice in our daily lives. This is the only way to pay tribute to the Father of the Nation.
